Terms of Service

Plain terms for a plain deal. You buy a course, you get the materials and the community, and you use them yourself. Here is the full agreement.

What you are buying

Scale Up Video, a Media Core company, sells the following:

• The Video Business System, a one-time purchase of $997. This is the launch price for the first 25 students. After that, the price is $1,997.
• Video Business Kickstart, a one-time purchase of $297.
• An hour with Josh, a one-time booked service of $350 for a single 60 minute one-to-one video call. This is a service, not a digital product, and the terms below under "Booked calls" apply to it instead of the guarantee.

The two courses are digital products: written lessons, tools and templates, and access to the private community on Skool. Video lessons are added to the System over time at no extra cost.

Booked calls

An hour with Josh is booked and paid in a single step through our scheduling page. Payment is taken at the time of booking and the slot is confirmed immediately.

• Reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours notice and you can rebook at no additional cost, or ask us for a refund.
• A no-show, or a cancellation inside 24 hours, forfeits the call and the fee. The time was held for you and could not be given to anyone else.
• If we have to move the call for any reason, you get a new time or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
• The call is advice from one business owner to another based on your situation. It is not accounting, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a guarantee of any result.
• Digital-product sales are final. Booked calls have their own rule, above.

Your license

When you buy, you get a license to use the materials for your own business. That means you, personally, and your company.

• You do not share your login, the lessons, or the toolkit with anyone outside your business.
• You do not resell, republish, or redistribute the materials, the templates, or the toolkit.
• You do not share or transfer your community access.

The content stays ours. You get to use it. You do not get to hand it out or sell it on.

Lifetime access

Your access is for the life of the product. As long as we run the course, you have it, including updates and new video lessons as they land. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not a guarantee that any single tool or platform runs forever.

The community

The private community on Skool is a room of operators actually building. To keep it useful, we expect you to be straight with people, keep it civil, keep what is shared inside the room private, and not use it to pitch or spam other members. We can remove access for anyone who abuses the space or breaks these terms, without a refund of the community portion.

Payment and pricing

Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. The $997 launch price on the System applies to the first 25 students, then it moves to $1,997. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices for future buyers, but that never changes what you already paid.

Earnings disclaimer

Refunds

All sales of digital products are final, except where a refund is required by law. Purchases made before September 2, 2026 keep the guarantee that was published when they were bought; see the Refund page.

Limitation of liability

We put real work into these products, but we provide them "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Scale Up Video and Media Core are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses tied to your use of the materials or the community. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute is handled under Minnesota law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the products change. When we do, we update the date at the top. Continuing to use the products after a change means you accept the updated terms.
