Invite an owner. Earn $500 when they buy.

Every owner of The Video Business System gets a personal invite link. When someone you invite buys the System through your link, you earn $500. Flat, no percentage math, no matter what the price is that day.

Who can refer

Anyone who owns The Video Business System. Your link is created the first time you open the Refer page in your portal.

What pays

• $500 for each new buyer of The Video Business System who purchases through your link.
• The reward is a flat $500 per referred buyer. It does not change when the course price changes.
• Referrals of the free Pricing Playbook, the Kickstart, or anything other than the System do not pay.

How attribution works

• Your link drops a referral code in the visitor's browser that lasts 90 days. If they buy inside that window, the sale is yours.
• If a visitor uses more than one owner's link, the most recent link before purchase wins.
• The code has to be present at checkout. If someone types the URL fresh in a different browser and buys without your link, we cannot attribute it, and we will not reconstruct it after the fact.

When you get paid

• Every referral sits on a 14-day hold from the purchase date. That covers payment disputes and chargebacks. It is a hold, not a clawback: once paid, it is yours.
• After the hold, we pay your $500 from Media Core LLC by ACH or check. Payouts go out at least once a month. Before your first payout we need a completed W-9, and we ask for it in your referral notification email.
• If a referred purchase is reversed by a payment dispute or chargeback before the hold ends, that referral is voided.

Taxes

Referral rewards are income. We collect a W-9 before the first payout and send a 1099-NEC when payouts reach $600 or more in a calendar year. You are responsible for your own taxes.

The rules

• Say you are paid. When you recommend the System with your link, tell people you earn a referral reward. That is a legal requirement (FTC endorsement rules) and it is also just honest.
• No self-referrals. You cannot earn on your own purchase, on a purchase from your own household or company, or on any purchase paid with your money.
• No paid ads on your link. Do not run paid ads, buy placements, or bid on our name to drive traffic to your link.
• No spam and no fakes. No unsolicited bulk messages, no fake reviews, no pretending to be Scale Up Video or Media Core.
• Tell the truth. Do not promise anyone income, results, or anything about the System that is not on our site. We make no income claims and neither can you.
• No coupons or discounts. Your link does not change the buyer's price, and you may not offer to rebate part of your reward to close a sale.

Our side

• We can change the reward, the hold period, or these terms for future referrals with notice on this page. Referrals already recorded keep the terms they were recorded under.
• We can end the program at any time. Referrals recorded before the end date still get paid.
• Breaking the rules above voids the referrals involved and ends your participation.
• This program is run by Scale Up Video, a product of Media Core LLC, Rochester, Minnesota.
